Poker Party announces that they now offer you re-buys and add-ons on some of their multi-table tournaments. What this means is that you will be allowed to buy additional chips during a tournament. Re-buys are available as well, but only before the first break of the game and only to those players who are below or at their original chip count. The first add-on is available during the first break and will be available to all players, despite their current chip count. Tournaments may allow re-buys and add-ons or just a re-buys, and this information will be in the tournament lobby next to the name of the tournament in the information box provided. The details will be displayed upon selecting the tournament.

The distribution of the prize pool for tournaments that allow both Re-buys and Add-ons are never calculated until after both the Re-buy and add-on periods have ended. The only figure that will be displayed until the add-on period is over is the total prize pool figure. If it is a Re-buy only tournament, the prize pool distribution will take place after the re-buy period is over. If any player loses all of your chips, you automatically will be given the re-buy screen option (as long as you are eligible for a re-buy). You will be given 30 seconds to decide whether or not you want to re-buy, if you choose not to re-buy, you will be eliminated from the tournament.

The number of re-buys that Poker Party allows for each tournament can range from zero to unlimited, as can the number of add-ons allowed in a tournament. The number of re-buys and add-ons allowed in each tournament will be displayed in the tournament lobby under tournament description box. Also, at the beginning of each tournament, you will be able to see stack details and the cost of each re-buy, the number of chips per re-buy and the cost of add-ons and number of chips per add-on.
Party Poker would like to make sure that all players understand that if they are eliminated from a tournament at any rank that has a prize associated with it, the re-buy / re-buy and add-on period will be closed to that player, despite the fact that the prize pool is not published at that time. The player will, however, be awarded his/her due prize money.
One final bit of information that should be known by the players is that with each re-buy and add-on during the tournament, the total chips in the tournament will increase. The total number of chips in re-buy tournaments will be equal to sum of all players ' starting chips + the sum of the chips given to all players through any Re-buy requests + the sum of chips given to all players through add-on requests. The total chips in the tournament will continue to increase until the add-on/re-buy period is over and all final numbers will be figured out at that time so that everything is accurate.
